This artwork is based on two years of creative exploration into the world of moss. I am fascinated by the micro world of mossy rainforests and in particular the relationship moss has with water. This artwork explores 'stemfall' (the flow of intercepted water down the trunk or stem of a plant) and 'throughfall' (how wet leaves shed excess water onto the ground surface) - hinting to these rivers that run down trees and highlighting about the role that mosses play in this process.
