Jyoti Bharwani
Jyoti Bharwani creates art which allows the natural balance of materials. Here, stitch and paint create unpredictable harmony and connection, symbolic of the rhythm of the larger cosmos.
Similarly, landscapes of the moon reflect in the nature of the earth, particularly the tides and water balance ever present in the oceans as well as humankind.
Born and educated in the Channel Islands with South Asian heritage, Jyoti brings a tapestry of lived experience to her contemporary practice based in London. Recently her work has been exhibited at the ING Discerning Eye at Mall Galleries in 2023 & 2024 and Trafalgar Square as part of the London Heritage Sculpture Trail. In October 2024, her work can be found at The Other Art Fair at the Truman Brewery. She holds an MA Fine Art from City & Guilds London Art School.
