Anne Laure Carruth has created two guided Mediation and Visualisation videos especially for the Wilderness for the Mind Exhibition.
Both of these meditations are designed to be enjoyed at home in a quiet and reflective space. Lockdown is easing for many people but I wanted to do some recordings that could be calming for those of you who do not have easy access to natural spaces at the moment.
Dawn Chorus/ sound meditation:
Is a 7 minute sound meditation and was taken at sunrise to capture the beautiful dawn chorus of the rural french location I have been lucky enough to self isolate in. Find a comfortable seated or lying down position. You can either close your eyes or lower your gaze, although on the screen there will be a few prompts to help relax your breathing throughout the session.
River scene / visual meditation:
Is a 7 minute visual water meditation, of the Meuse river close to its source in eastern France. Find a comfortable seated position where ideally you do not need to be holding your phone, so you can fully relax your muscles.
