Sam Gare is an artist living in London. Driven by a lifelong passion for nature, she frequently travels to isolated environments to inform her work, creating both in the studio and outdoors in the field in her van.
Sam Gare’s approach depicts the wild landscapes from which modern urban lifestyles are increasingly disconnected. As the consequences of the ever increasing encroachment of “civilization” on nature begins to seriously show it’s scars on the wild, her work raise’s awareness of conservation and the importance to protect and respect the wilderness. Sam’s work shares the positive power of the wild on the human spirit and soul.
